Kid-Friendly German Party!



For no particular reason, we decided to throw a little German dinner party and I wanted the girls to enjoy it as much as the adults. So here's how we made potato pancakes, cucumber salad and oompah music fun for toddlers:

If there's one thing I'm pretty confident about it's knowing where all the gluten free food is around the fabulous Florida Keys.  The tiny island chain at the southern tip of Florida offers miles of warm beaches, coconuts, miniature deer, wild iguanas, and plenty of weirdos.  It is where I grew up and continue to spend winters, and it offers a really nice variety of gluten free foods including a dark chocolate covered slice of key lime pie on a stick.  Yeah, you heard me.  Read my full article with a handy list of GF-friendly restaurants from Key Largo to Key West HERE on the One Smiley Monkey blog.
