Ultimate Relaxation Party (That is Sort of Green)

If you are looking for a 5minutesformom.com ULTIMATE BLOG PARTY, you have arrived.  Brace yourself.  This party is about to get ultimate.

But first, go grab the following items:

  1. Bottle of wine (or box, I don't judge)
  2. Bucket or bowl large enough for both of your feet (if you use your family's salad bowl, you'll want to wash it thoroughly after this party)
  3. Jug of milk
  4. Bottle of lemon juice
  5. Bottle of olive oil
  6. Your favorite snacks - cheese, chocolate, whatever.
  7. Bath towel

Okay.  Now you're ready to party.

PLAY SONG TO START PARTY:

OPEN BOTTLE OF WINE.

Crap.  I forgot to tell you to get the bottle opener.  Sigh... Pause the song and go get it.  Then come back and hit Play.

GO AHEAD.  DRINK WINE DIRECTLY FROM BOTTLE.

I said this was a "green" party, right?  Drinking from the bottle reduces waste by skipping that pesky plastic party cup.

Okay, that's enough wine for now.  We need all faculties to make a relaxing foot soak.

FUN PARTY CRAFT:  MAKE FOOT SOAK.

Spread your bath towel on the floor under you and center the bowl down there so it's comfy for you to sit and put your feet in.

Since I forgot to tell you to bring a measuring cup to the party, just eyeball the following measurements:

1 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup milk
3 TBS olive oil

Once all of your ingredients are in the bowl, make sure your computer (preferably a laptop so you don't electrocute yourself), wine and snacks are within reach.  Yes? Okay.  Roll up your yoga pants (I know you're wearing them.  It's okay.  I am too.) and dunk both of your feet in the bowl.

PLAY SONG TO BEGIN ULTIMATE RELAXATION PORTION OF PARTY:

SOAK FEET, DRINK WINE AND EAT SNACKS.

Repeat any/all of the above steps as necessary.

Or until you have to pee.

When you're done partying, towel off your feet and go straight to bed.  For the love of your carpet, do not attempt to empty the bowl of lemon foot milk tonight.  Wait until you've sobered up tomorrow to walk it across the house to the sink.
